Home & Furniture Black Friday
Updated October 1, 2026
Vancouver's guide to home and furniture sales this Black Friday. Tracking deals in Mount Pleasant, Gastown, and South Granville.
Vancouver’s home goods and furniture retail is highly regionalized. South Granville holds the high-end international showrooms, Mount Pleasant commands the mid-century vintage market, and Gastown focuses on luxury lighting and interior design. Black Friday is one of the few times these sectors align on discounting.
Shipping logistics define this category. A 20% discount on a sofa is quickly erased by $300 in local delivery fees. Always verify whether the sale price applies to floor models (which you must haul yourself) or warehouse orders, as global supply chains still cause multi-month delays for custom upholstery.
FAQ
- Do the South Granville showrooms participate?
- Yes. Many high-end furniture showrooms on South Granville run their only major public sales of the year during this week.
- Are delivery fees discounted?
- Rarely. Independent shops rely on third-party local logistics companies, whose rates remain fixed.
